Birthing Tea
- Raspberry leaf:
- Partridge berry leaf:
- Hypericum perfoliatum:

This tea willhelp prepare the womb for delivery by softening the cervix and encouraging the relaxation of the pelvic tissues. By increasing the tone ad overall strength of the uterine lining the herbs also help promote regular "productive" contractions during the birthing process.
Dose: Pour 1 cup of just boiled water over 1 teaspoonful of mixed herb; steep for 10 minutes, strain, sweeten with honey, drink 1 cup twice daily 1 week before delivery
Hypertonic states - this tea can be sipped when conditions are strong but irregular and non productive or when mother is anxious and unable to establish a rhythm with the contractions of her womb.

Hypotonic states
The following tea can be sipped to help
initiate more productive contractions in cases where
contractions
are weak or delayed.

Infusion: 1 tsp/cup of just boiled water as needed
Blood pressure decoction
- Black cohosh:
- Linden flores:
- Hawthorn berries:

Decoction ¼ cup q ½ hr or prn during labour
Post - Partum
Breastfeeding Tea to help establish a good
flow
- Raspberry leaf:

Dose: Pour 1 cup of just boiled water over 1 teaspoonful
of
mixed herb; steep for 10 minutes, strain, sweeten with honey
drink up to 3 cups per day as needed
Breastfeeding Tea (2) For colic

Breastfeeding Tea (3) For nervousness

Breastfeeding Tea (4) to maintain a good flow

1 tsp/cup - TID
To stop milk

1 cup three times daily (TID) as needed
After pain (antispasmodic formula)

Does: 5ml every 3 hours as needed
Begin this tincture after passage up to 7-10 days post-partum prn(as needed)
Sitz bath infusion
- Comfrey
- Oatstraw
- Nettle
Put 1 cup into bucket or sitz bath basin
Sit for 20 minutes-hot sitz bath
Sit for 20 minutes-cold sitz bath
Perineal wash
- Raspberry leaf:
- Calendula:
- Hypericum perforatum:
- Lavender flores:
- Comfrey leaf:
Dose: Pour 1 cup of just boiled water over 2 teaspoonfuls of
mixed herb; steep
for 10 minutes - strain - cool and bathe the perennial area as
needed
Make a spritzer bottle with 2 parts perineal tea and 1 pt Aloe
Vera juice and spray
on to stitches before urination to prevent burning. Tea should be
replaced every 48 hrs. Keep in fride
Use this formula and after a couple of days (stitches dry)may
apply " Bust or Bottom" salve to perineum.
Post - Natal Depression

Dose: Pour 1 cup of just boiled water over 1 heaping teaspoonful
of mixed herb; steep
for 10 minutes - strain - sweeten with honey of desired. Drink 1-3
cups daily.
Post - Miscarriage or childbirth tea with excessive bleeding

1 tsp/cup QID times 7 days
This tea can be used along with tincture to arrest bleeding - Shepherds purse and Yarrow flores to help rebuild system. It is recommended to take this for 2 weeks.
This formula tightens the womb and vagina aiding in the
restoration
of womb, reducing risk of haemorrhage and providing an
internal
cleanse while providing nutritive value.
